Half time: Durham 0 Newcastle Reserves 2
Tommy
Craig told waiting journalists after the match:
The scoring began after 15 minutes when ex-mackem Richard Ord bizarrely put through his own goal to give us the lead. Jamie McClen crossed from the left and the ball hit Ord's hand before it trickled in at the far post. A Diego Gavilan shot made it 2-0 after 37 minutes to give Tommy Craig's side a two-goal advantage at the break. Dimas got his first midway through
the second half with a header and he followed that with a shot just four
minutes later to make it 4-0. Dimas then completed his hat-trick
after 82 minutes with another shot (after Offiong's attempt bounced back
off the home 'keeper) to give the stiffs their biggest win of the
pre-season so far. Biffa |
